 W.B.lbl comments:
"It sounds like some zinc molds with 1702564 listed on the label were still hanging around at the time of the May 1948 20000 switch, parallel to the no patent label design. Not the first or last time that pressing plants would have something inapplicable to the moment on their grounds."

 This has been entered as released in May 1948 because according to https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/20393, May 1948 was the first month of release for the 20,000 series.
Praguefrank, claims this record and Columbia 37030 are a July 1946 reissue, but that statement is probably only true for Columbia 37030, not for the reissue Columbia 20055.

It should be said, however, that May 1948 would be an extremely late occurrence of a Bridgeport pressing with a 1946-1948 CBS label with two lines of patent text under COLUMBIA, listing patent 1702564. Based on what I've seen so far, Bridgeport switched to the new label without patent 1702564 in December 1947, cf. comments and examples at https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/37957&rc=306499#306499.

So did the 20,000 series start in late 1947 after all?
