 Apes Ville has told me that his info comes from Willem Agenant's by-invitation-only Blogspot blog on the Columbia 20000 series. Willem Agenant has published a discography, "Columbia 78 RPM Record Listing 20001 thru 21571 Plus Okeh Records 18001 Thru 18059," Zephyrhills, Fla: Joyce Record Club, 1996; a few pages may be previewed on Open Library.

 The June 1947 date was pertinent to 37444 only. I was to Sony Music's archives and can attest. The 20171 renumbering dates this to May 1948.

 "Release date is June, 1947" cannot be. The 2000 series did not start till 1948 due to the war. It was started to match Decca new Hillbilly series. June 1947 is Columbia (NY) 78 - 37444. The fist press of this one is 1942 Okeh (NY) 78 - 06596.
