Going through 1948 issues,
Billboard
was still using "Race" in its 'Reviews' and 'Advance Record Releases' lists. RCA Victor used either "Rhythm & Blues" or "Blues" in it advertisements.

Once again, "Rhythm and Blues" is as term coined by Billboard in 1949 to replace the outdated term of "Race Records".
