I bought my first 45 in 1963 (Little Stevie Wonder's "Fingertips" on Tamla — 98c at the A&P!), but only really began seriously collecting records since 1967.
I have a wide range of collecting interests ... have a look at my lists: 45cat / 45worlds.
Reading the blurb on the back of the cover, the theme of the plot reminds me somewhat of Blish's short story, "Beep" (which he later expanded into "The Quincunx of Time").
Since "Doctor Who And The Daleks" is the title as it appears on the cover, the original title ("... Exciting Adventure with ...") has been added to the English Title field to provide the link with older editions. All the newer editions should now be linked with only this one having the original title.
Thanks for the reply. Signet used a number a Avati paintings for their earlier titles; perhaps the cover here cropped his signature from a larger illustration.
