The "Bop For The People" on {Images #2826736 & 2826737} looks like it might be a later pressing. The change in label fonts in relation to {Images #2826722, 2826738 & 2826739} is a clue. The label type on the last three were from when RCA still had pressing of 78's by the Camden, NJ plant. But later in February, the plant closed for what turned out to be for good. Both type variants show a label design around the concentric circles that would indicate Indianapolis pressings. The Futura Medium-only label type was on a slew of 78's of the period including Vaughn Monroe's "Riders In The Sky" before they added Monotype News Gothic Condensed in various sizes to the mix not long after that (and as would be seen on 20-3467).

Vic 20-3346 - added are 2 editions with different credit, plus the disc jockey issue. I think that the Bop for the People labels are the original issue, as this was the band name at the time. The DJ issue may have been pressed to promote the repressing with "and his Orchestra" labels. The Billboard advance notice gives C. Ventura Ork., but this may be for space reasons (or Victor doubted about the name it would use ). The Canadian and 45 rpm issue have the "Bop" credit, just as his next RCA Victor releases 20-3396 &
20-3467.

The first label I uploaded (2nd variant -B) can be removed, resulting in the correct sequence of the 6 labels.
[mod:Bop labels moved to top]
