Wouldn't surprise me. Small wonder that, by 1957, Bert-Co switched what fonts they used for RCA Victor 45's and 78's.

For the publishers, songwriting, artist and running times, they used 6 point Metromedium No. 2. (Come '57, music publishing and songwriting would be set in 6 point Gothic Condensed No. 4B - which as of this period, was only used for the New Orthophonic blurb.) The matrix numbers were in 6 point Metroblack No. 2. The rest were 10 point Trade Gothic Condensed, except '78 RPM' set in 10 point Trade Gothic Bold Condensed.

(Compare to "Hard Headed Woman," the {Image #893328}, which was also Bert-Co.)

Before any of you collapse from a lack of oxygen, here are my Hollywood labels.

The runouts of my version are:
A side runout: G2 WB 5935-8S H A⥜
B side runout: G2 WB 5936-8S H A⥜
(the ⥜ represents a mirror-inverted American Typewriter 1).

Note that this Hollywood version uses full stops after all abbreviated words in the publisher credits: "Lion Pub. Co." & "Shalimar Mus. Corp."
I've seen another Hollywood variant that leaves some of them out:
"Lion Pub Co." & "Shalimar Mus Corp."

I can say with certainty that {Images #2664525 & 2664526} is Indianapolis. I would appreciate any deadwax numbers of each Indy variant to determine which came first. However, I should note that earlier in 1956, Indy 78 labels had the left and right sides lower than the area round the spindle hole, and later in the year the left and right sides of text were shifted more towards the hole center as seen on {Images #413385 & 413384}.

Now we're all waiting with baited breath for any Hollywood variants with "78 RPM" above the "New Orthophonic" language - and "His Master's Voice" right below Nipper.

Images 2664525 and 2664526 lack the phrase "New Orthophonic" High Fidelity that is on all the other Color Nipper labels but otherwise it looks like the Indianapolis pressing {images 413385 and 413384}. Is it also an Indianapolis pressing, just earlier?

 "Hound Dog" (Hollywood pressing):

You ain't nothing but a hound dog,
Crying all the time.
You ain't nothing but a hound dog,
Crying all the time.
Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit
And you ain't no friend of mine.

When they said you was high-classed,
Well, that was just a lie.
Yeah, they said you was high-classed,
Well, that was just a lie.
Yeah, you ain't never caught a rabbit
And you ain't no friend of mine.

 "Don't Be Cruel" (Hollywood pressing):

You know I can be found,
sitting home all alone,
If you can't come around,
at least please telephone.
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.

Baby, if I made you mad
for something I might have said,
Please, let's forget the past,
the future looks bright ahead.
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.
I don't want no other love,
Baby, it's just you I'm thinking of.

Don't stop thinking of me,
don't make me feel this way.
Come on over here and love me,
you know what I want you to say.
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.
Why should we be apart?
I really love you, Baby, cross my heart.

Let's walk up to the preacher
and let us say I do.
Then you'll know you'll have me,
and I'll know that I'll have you.
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.
I don't want no other love,
Baby, it's just you I'm thinking of.

Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.
I don't want no other love,
Baby, it's just you I'm thinking of.
