 I scan at 300 dpi on my Samsung SCX-4200 scanner then crop and re size to 700 x what ever. in Paint net, will try doing 600 dpi as I do not want to have to photo all labels and sleeves.

 I generally scan at 600 dpi for prep purposes (due to scanner idiosyncrasies), scale to 300 when finished, then do another scaling (first to 96 dpi, then setting pixel width/height) for formatting onto here. Kind of like recording a song at 30 ips, then making a "safety" at 15.

 These are both only 46,5 d.p.i and should be at least 72 (even higher if possible)..I use 300 and scale down

 This may help scanning. A side scanned at 100%, B side scanned at 200%, B side looks clearer.
