This record was so popular that it now offers an overview of almost all of Victor's Scroll label styles (only the 1935-1937 design with the company name RCA Manufacturing Co., Inc. is missing).
Image 3416186 shows the original December 1927 release on a Victor Scroll label, with Victor Talking Machine Co. at the bottom, Orthophonic Recording to the left of the spindle hole, and the catalog number to the right side of the spindle hole (used Spring 1927-Spring 1928), cf. M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 93.
Image 3416194 features the same label style, but with a small "o" above Nipper, which marks it as an Oakland pressing.
Image 3416188 is a repress on a Spring 1928-Spring 1930 Scroll label with the phrase “Orthophonic Recording” above the Nipper trademark and "For best results, use Victor Needles" to the left of the spindle hole, cf. M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 95.
Images 3416195 and 3416190 represent a repress on a Spring-Summer 1930 Scroll label with the company name Victor Talking Machine Division - Radio-Victor Corporation of America, cf. M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 95.
The final repress (image 3416191) is on Fall 1930-Summer 1935 Scroll label with company name RCA Victor Company, Inc., cf. M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 96.
Since Han's images were all copied from Ebay auctions, there are of vastly different quality. I've edited what I could get up to site standard, but some simply can't be improved enough to be fit for display, and I have hidden them.
Vic 21074 - to replace the damaged images of the original labels I have added better images, plus images of the 3 later label variants and the A-side Oakland pressing (which is variant #1 plus the tiny 'o' at 12, thus released at the time of the first pressing). - By error I added the oakland label of 21073 first, but maybe this now can be added to its right place.
I've posted a contemporaneous newspaper ad giving a release date of January 20, 1928. Most of the other listed record releases agree with the January, 1928 Talking Machine World schedule referenced by fixbutte, below.
DAHR has the Victor catalog date which was apparently Jan 1928, but looking at the release dates of neighboring numbers on Talking Machine World, I would rather date this late December 1927, see here (Dec 1927) and here (Jan 1928).
