 I would rather believe that this an early unidentified British dance orchestra playing light or sweet music. It could be classified as pop. In any case, it's not comparable to postwar recordings by Mantovani or Dick Hyman, or others of that ilk.

 But isn't this just simply Pop music from 1900-1910?

Easy Listening seems to become a concept in the 1940s. The Wikipedia link you quote also says "The style has been synonymous with the tag "with strings"." The Discogs definition similarly says, "A very soft style that features organs, strings or other very "light" instruments. May be instrumental or with a vocalist."

Are there strings or organs on this recording? And when they say organs in connection with Easy Listening, I believe they mean electric organs played in a Ken Griffin-style, which weren't even invented before 1934.
