xiphophilos 24th Nov 2018		Since the record above is listed in Talking Machine World, December 15, 1921, page 168 (see link above), both Rust, ADBD, page 291 and the ODP clearly were off by several months with their estimate for a recording date. I agree with Ross Laird, this must have been recorded ca. October 1921. Most Brunswicks at the time show something like a two-month delay between recording date and release date.
slholzer 24th Nov 2016		The Online Discographic Project and Rust in the American Dance Band Discography put the recording date of these tracks in January or February, 1922. If they are correct, the release date of 1921 is too early. Rust says that the Castlewood Marimba Band was most likely a Green Brothers organization.
