One might add that this repress is probably rarer than the original because the "Victor Talking Machine Division - Radio-Victor Corporation of America" labels were only produced for something like 3 months.

You are correct, xiphophilos. I had meant to make a comment about that. Thank you for setting the record straight.

In any case, the labels here are Spring-Summer 1930 Scroll labels with the company name Victor Talking Machine Division - Radio-Victor Corporation of America, cf. M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 95.

I agree with you on this, Mike. Still, I find it odd that there are these discrepancies, since DAHR cites the Bolig discographies as sources for much of the Victor information on the website.

DAHR seems to clash with the Bolig discographies quite a bit. Since John Bolig pulled his information from the original Victor file cards, I'm inclined to go with what he has to say instead of DAHR.

The DAHR website (https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/matrix/detail/800023757/BVE-50547-Im_ka-razy_for_you) states that this take of "I'm Ka-razy For You" was recorded in San Francisco, not Hollywood. This is at odds with what John Bolig states in "The Victor Black Label Discography, vol. 3".
