Notes

Even though Ms. Dietrich was a successful vaudeville actress in Deutschland, she emigrated to the United States in 1930 to join Josef von Sternberg due to the fact that she was under contract to Paramount Pictures in Hollywood. Nine years later in 1939, Ms. Dietrich renounced her German citizenship to become a naturalized citizen of the United States. During the Second World War, Ms. Dietrich composed a tune called Lili Marlene, and had recorded several tunes in Deutsch to help the U. S. soldiers win this war and to ultimately help the surviving citizens rebuild their European lands that were destroyed by bombs during this war.

Also used ,with appropriate markings, as part of a four record album No A-675 in 1948

Decca must have used the 23456 catalog no. twice, because what I come up with is an Ella Fitzgerald record.

Added alternate record label scan for "A" Track, and a scan for "B" Track. This release looks to be parts 1/2 of 8 Sides Album No. A-675. I can't locate the other three record in the set.
