 Compared to Jimmie Davis' later records on Victor (see my comment on 23703), this was a good seller. The number of copies sold was 9,653 according to DAHR, probably supported by the suggestive B-side which was reissued a couple of times, see Bluebird B-5005.

The A-side isn't bad either:
