 Label image added for the smut "Sewing Machine Blues" which was actually not the A-side of this record. Corrected accordingly.

The less risqué but equally brilliant "High Behind Blues" was reissued on Bluebird B-5699, as the B-side of "Red Nightgown Blues":

 Again not sure if "Sewing Machine Blues" was actually the designated A-side of the record. Sales for Davis' "smut" stuff were apparently declining though, probably because of the Great Depression. Victor files show a rather small number of copies sold: 507 (according to DAHR), compared to 1196 copies for Victor 23659 and 1705 for Victor 23620 (nothing known about Victor V-40286).
