 Yeah I agree that this was a pop record in the 40s, but you gotta remember that back then jazz was pop music.

Just personally I’ve never liked how older musicians are labeled as just pop, because no matter what pop music always has a genre to go along with it, because what’s popular always changes

 Billboard certainly listed this as under Popular releases, see Jan. 18, 1947, page 28: Advance Record Releases. The other categories they had available at the time were Folk, Race, and Hot Jazz.

I didn't change this to pop, but that seems a justifiable decision to me.

 What makes a song ‘jazz’? Because the ink spots are definitely a jazz band, but someone changed the genres to just be pop
