 The Baltimore Bell Hops was a name used by Fletcher Henderson and his Orchestra. Louis Armstrong is said to be playing trumpet on this recording

The melody for Hot and Anxious borrowed heavily from Tar Paper Stomp by Wingy Manone. In the Mood in turn borrowed heavy from both and is almost exactly the same as Hot and Anxious.

The blue shellac is extremely quiet.
