 There is no German form of Liliuokalani's name (unlike, e.g., in the case of Charlemagne, whom we call Karl der Große). So the v must be a simple typo.

 The composer of Aloha Oe is generally known to be Queen Liliuokalani of Hawaii. I don't know if the insertion of a "v" in her name for the normal "u" is a mistake here or a sort of Germanification.

For those who don't read German, the artist credit indicates a vocal in English on both sides. Otherwise, we are told only that that the record features Hawaiian Guitar and Wurlitzer Organ. By virtue of the English vocal, the original recording is probably British or American. Does anybody know who these guys are, or where the master came from?
