W.B.lbl 29th Mar 2017		The 'H' in the deadwax, combined with Bert-Co label fonts. Richmond, IN would have used the newer label design, and fonts along the lines of the 45 of "Rock-A-Bye Your Baby . . . " in that linked YT clip. Many printers with Linotype fonts had the same diamond symbol. It's more indicative of a printer than pressing plant, in this sense.



xiphophilos 29th Mar 2017		So this is not a Richmond, IN, pressing, despite the ◈? Is it the H in the runout that tells you that it's RCA's Hollywood plant?



W.B.lbl 29th Mar 2017		Yet, it was Jer's cover of "Rock-A-Bye Your Baby . . . " that was the hit. B.T.W., {Images #1296731 & 1296732} was pressed by RCA Victor's Hollywood, CA plant, with label typesetting from Bert-Co - which didn't even switch to the newer "star" label that was inaugurated in late 1954/early '55. Here, Bert-Co continued to use the older "Personality Series" label right up to the demise of the 78 in 1958 (and the 1950 45 RPM label design up to 1959).
