fixbutte 13th Nov 2014		Other than initially submitted, Okeh 03070 was not released in 1936. Autry's recordings from 1935 were originally released on ARC's dime store labels such as Melotone and Perfect. When these labels were abandoned in April 1938, many of the best selling records were reissued on Vocalion, at this reusing older Vocalion catalog numbers by popular artists and adding a "0" to them as was common practice for race (R&B) and hillbilly (C&W) material. Finally, in July 1940, the Vocalion line was merged into the revived OKeh imprint by the new owner, Columbia, reusing the Vocalion numbers for the OKeh reissues. Thus pressings of OKeh 03070 were from 1940 or after.
