fixbutte 12th Jun 2014		Nearly nothing is known about female vocalist Aggie Dukes, labeled as a "swingin' r'n'b mover" on YouTube. From npr music: Records by the singer are so rare that, until recently, even her own daughter had never heard them. "I was so elated that it was still playing. People had told me she recorded. But she passed when I was 11", Katherine Dukes says. Her band, however, featured the flute of Buddy Collette, who would become well-reputed in the West Coast jazz and blues mediums, also collaborating with Dexter Gordon, Chico Hamilton, and Charles Mingus.
