Comments and Reviews xiphophilos 4th Feb 2019 "You Made Me Love You" version from the 1942 movie "Private Buckaroo":
xiphophilos 26th Feb 2018 I've asked W.B.lbl. about the different label variants, and he says that both label variants shown above are Bridgeport pressings from ca. 1941. He writes, "I reckon {Images #1587678 & 1587679} came first because the gold on the label is more gold than on {Images #1194646 & 1194645}. But both came out after the shift in the fine text around late 1941/early 1942, yet before "For perfect tone use Columbia Needles" was added to the left side".
The shift in the fine text he refers to is that the logo got reduced in size and the patent text was brought closer to the COLUMBIA logo in 1940/41. The blurb "For perfect tone use Columbia Needles" was added to all Columbia pressings between early 1942 and early 1951. BigBadBluesMan 28th Feb 2015 BigBadBluesMan 28th Feb 2015
