xiphophilos 30th Sep 2017		Again, this looks very much like a private pressing cut at a radio store, not like an actual label. I wish we had images to know for sure. About Gray Radio in Scarborough, I found, “Neville Gray, ... was running Gray Radio, which later became Walkers Studio run with his son David." (source) "Stout-Hearted Men" was composed in 1927 for the operetta with music "New Moon" by Sigmund Romberg and Oscar Hammerstein II. In the 1940 movie "New Moon," it was sung by Nelson Eddy: I find it hard to believe that this recording was made as early as 1927, as originally entered. The operetta opened that year, but it was a failure and was significantly revised before it could be staged again in 1928 and became a success.
