DeweyGill SUBS 12th Jun 2024		@ cyeaman-I saw him In Milwaukee in the ‘80’s as well. I think it was at a Jazz Festival at the Summerfest grounds. I had a chance to interview him briefly. Not sure if this is the one you were at. I think he appeared here twice in the ‘80’s. His popularity spiked after the Blues Brothers movie. I think that was the same event I was supposed to interview Buddy Rich at- but that story needs its own page.



cyeaman SUBS 12th Jun 2024		I saw Cab Calloway in Milwaukee in 1988. The man put on an amazing show. He was 81 years old and I remember his performance more vividly than I do those of performers 1/4th his age. Sometimes, older is better.
