Changed a bit in the notes submitted by the original contributor. These sides were definitely not recorded in Chicago, all sources say New York. As seen on the label, Frankie Trumbauer did not play an alto sax but a C Melody Sax (which is something between a tenor and an alto sax). Arranger credits (Adolph Deitch for "Riverboat Shuffle", Bill Challis for "Ostrich Walk") that are not on the labels have been deleted from the notes. Although these names are apparently given in a 1948 discography by Charles Delaunay, they have not been confirmed by other sources, and the identity of Adolph Deitch is unclear (possibly Adolph Deutsch, an English composer).
