Sie fragen voll Inbrunst, wie's geht, How do you do? Drauf schreib ich Ihnen hier: I dank you, děkuju! Glauben S' aber eins dem treuen Freunde Jelsina: Oh Mister Swoboda, was machen S' da in USA? Oh Mister Swoboda, fahr'n S' gleich zurück nach Europa! Oh Mister Swoboda, wo bleibt dort das etcetera? Das Pils, na, und die Knödel, die Polka und die Mädel, wo gibt's denn so was überhaupt in ganz Amerika? Sie gehör'n mit dem Benehmen natürlich nur nach Böhmen. Was machen's also da, Herr Swoboda? Oh Mister Swoboda, was machen's da in USA? Oh Mister Swoboda, fahr'n S' gleich zurück nach Europa! Translation: Recently a little letter arrived in New York, and that began like this, Esteemed Gentleman, You are asking me sincerely, how things are going, How do you do?
