Added images of original 1917 pressing. The label code "B10" stamped beneath Edison's signature on the L-side indicates a pressing date of October, 1917.

We can narrow down the date of Whassup's repressing to June 1921 - December 1921. Images show examples of the 5th and final "Bands" type label, which do not show Edison's portrait or the chemical retort on either side of the spindle hole. cf. George A. Copeland and Michael W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Edison Records (2012), pp. 20-21.

I think you are okay. The release date is supposed to be the _original_ release date. This doesn't prevent you from adding later represses. You can add the fact that they are a repress in the description of your label images.
Only on Discogs do you need to create a separate entry for each repressing.

I think my date of 1917 may be incorrect going on the following information.

A second major embossed label design, bearing four circumferential bands and the catalog number, was introduced in March 1919. This style was used for new releases and repressings (as needed) between March 1919 and December 1921.
