Now I know we said that UK releases by London have an L-prefix. So these must both be US-versions, even though one says "Made in England", and the other says "Made in U.S.A."

I've noticed the first U.S. London record with "Made in U.S.A." appear around September 1949, e.g., London 506.

Can it be that Decca continued to produce London discs in England and ship them across the ocean even though they had a U.S. plant producing the same discs simultaneously? Or are the "Made in U.S.A." discs later represses (starting when)?

Here's a nice new YT recording made directly from a 78, by lrh1966

You can notice a fuller tone.
He cut the fade a bit because of a scratch.

The actual 78 recording at ~3:16 length.

Mind you this is likely from a CD.
