 I didn't know about that Rainbow issue. Although it isn't technically Pet's first USA release, because her duet with Benny Lee was issued on London 542 over there as a 45 and 78.

 I know that there was a Rainbow label in the 1920s. This is the Rainbow label I see from the late 1940s and 1950s

There is also "Downtown" on Rhino, from the 'modern' age...

I'm not real keen on any of those 78s from Rhino. Something feels very fake about them IMHO. 'course I feel the same about the RSD by the Beach Boys. Granted they did have at least 78 in India (Cat # CL10 I think), but what the heck did Good Vibrations ever have to do with 78s! Better Capitol would have done a Beatles 78 of Love Me Do.

 Hmm -- I've tried to look up Rainbow 10015 and have hit a bump in the road .. that being the fact that You Are My True Love/ You're The Sweetest In The Land are from 1950, and I found an ad in the 24 January 1948 issue of Billboard for Rainbow 10050.
