PragueFrank is usually a really good resource -- so much more so than some of the so called experts on 78s at other sites -- but does have the occasional error. As with anything, it is always good to cross-check dates etc at several sites and not rely on one as the sole source of info

As commented on the other Bullet 647 [657], this one here is correctly numbered, confirmed by Tailspin's dead wax information. As already entered here, "Old Timey Christmas" was timely released in Nov 1947.

Strangely, although Praguefrank's Merl Lindsay discography lists this one correctly as released in Nov 1947, it has the completely wrong additional information "(rev.[iewed] June 19, 1948)". The Christmas song was, of course, not reviewed in midyear. The Billboard issue of this date actually lists the misprinted Bullet 647 by Leon Payne, which was meant as 657, and that one was not reviewed but only announced in the advance releases.

I really hate it when that happens... Bullet apparently issued two completely different #647s. I have photos of both. The other is by Leon Payne with Jack Rhodes and the Lone Star Buddies.
The tunes are Empty Arms b/w Lipstick Trail, both with vocals and written by Payne.
