xiphophilos 16th Dec 2013		Available for listening on Youtube: The orchestra sounds forgettable, but Kreisler's violin brings the haunting quality of this beautiful song across. One can see what inspired Tommy Dorsey to rearrange "Song of India" for his orchestra: It's interesting to compare this also with Kreisler's 1938 version (somewhat slower and only accompanied by piano);
