llpiper 16th Feb 2015		I had the same wash-out problem with my scanner, so I tried using my SLR camera instead.



mojofilter 19th Jan 2013		Sorry about the scans - the labels are all but illegible under normal light, and even less so on the scanner. Other US OKeh 78s on the site seem not to suffer from this problem, but gold on purple seems to have been a less-than-ideal choice. I have made a separate image of the labels made negative and color levels adjusted to bring out the contrast between text and label so you can see what they say. The only hue that worked was red... change it back to purple and the text became invisible again.
