That 1957 recording date is for a different version of "The Fight" and for a different recording of "Darling Remember". According to CD liner notes by researcher Ray Topping regarding the Shreveport, LA scene and the labels of Mira Smith, who owned Red River Records and Clif Records and who recorded TV Slim on "Darling Remember" b/w "Flat Foot Sam" for Clif, that version was a re-recording made in "early 1957". The liner notes show these sides as published in 1955, although they don't specify the release date of the 78. It is known that the "Joe Young" on the two sides is the same person as "Mighty Joe Young", who did move to Chicago in 1956, so the 1955 date is plausible.

I found the recordings on an Ace CD, "Red River Blues", and they are quite primitive and not the same recordings as the better-known takes. On the CD, they are clearly taken from a V condition or worse original...

The liner notes also mention a second early release on Speed as Eddie Williams on piano, with vocals by TV Slim, with "The Fight" backed with "Goin' To Calif." from 1956. A 45 of those two sides exists, although based on the label style I believe it to be a later reissue of those two sides. It is stated that the second release is Speed 6864 and that it is from 1956, but it seems even rarer than this one, with no recorded sales and no available images.
