han enderman 15th Jan 2024		Cq 7227 - There are at least 3 label variants of this issue. The orig. issue mentions Sears on label (images on discogs); the 2nd (added by xiphophilos) & 3rd editions omit Sears, and add 'Made in U.S.A.'. The A-side is from 28 Nov 1928, the B-side from 22 Nov (should be corrected in the Notes). The 2 recordings from 28 Nov were first issued on Banner 6251 with description 'Tenor Solo, Novelty Acc.' (also on the Regal issue, and probably all others). This description also occurs on variants #1 & 2 of Cq 7227-A. But on #3 it has been changed into 'Guitar Accompaniment' (for this title the only novelty effect is Carson Robison's whistling). The 3rd edition (both labels added) uses a smaller font for the title, and thus its B-side is also different from variant #2.
