(DAHR) This re-release dubs Tetrazzini's acoustically recorded vocal track from 1911 onto an electrically recorded orchestral accompaniment conducted by Lawrance Collingwood in 1933. Originally produced by the Gramophone Co. in the UK and released on His Master's Voice DB 1979 in December 1933 on the occasion of Tetrazzini's farewell tour through Britain (John Hanna, The Talking Machine Review 51 (April 1978) 1296-98).
