xiphophilos 18th Mar 2020		The label is the earliest version of the Scroll label: Victor Talking Machine Co. at the bottom, Orthophonic Recording to the left of the spindle hole, and the catalog number still at the bottom of the label (used between Fall 1926-Spring 1927). Because of the Sept. 1926 recording date, my guess is that the record appeared still in 1926. DAHR listed one more member of the personnel, Victor's Director of Light Music Nathaniel Shilkret, who played the chimes on the A side.
