Rust's American Dance Band Discography shows the A-side as featuring a vocal by the orchestra, which a listen to the video clip proves is not inaccurate. A glance through the Earl Gresh chapter of the ADBD suggests that orchestra vocals were the norm with that band. The clip nevertheless also demonstrates that there was one lead vocalist who did the "heavy lifting", the rest are largely incidental. Rust gives us no clue who that person might be. There are no band members designated specifically as vocalists or as vocalist/instrumentalists. Does anybody know who the lead singer might be?

This record is advertised in a Columbia ad (Lately released on Columbia) in the Bend Bulletin of February 14, 1927. I assume Feb. 1927 must be the release date.

Extrapolation from surrounding numbers does not date this disc closer than late 1926 or early 1927. A recording date of Dec. 23, 1926, however, would seem to limit the viable possibilities to early 1927.
