| xiphophilos 25th Feb 2019 | An Ebay seller currently demands GBP 20.90 (4.95 + 15.95 S/H) or US$27.25 for it. I can't imagine that anyone will actually shell out that much for what seems to be a common record on a common label (4 other copies are currently being offered on Discogs, for somewhat higher prices if you count in shipping). On a boot sale, this might bring a pound. If it was signed like yours, it may be worth more to someone, as long as the signatures are indeed those of Gracie Fields and Sandy Powells and not just someone marking this record as his property. A signed letter by Sandy Powell, so you can compare the signatures, is also currently on Ebay. Again, there must still be hundreds or even thousands of Sandy Powell autographs around (I easily found more than a dozen currently on sale) and who knows if anyone is actually willing to pay the prices people on Ebay demand. A signed photograph of Gracie Fields, just to put things in perspective, is currently on offer for a much more reasonable GBP 1.95 (source), but there are 21 other offers of her autographs just on Ebay for sometimes astronomical prices. | |
