xiphophilos 25th Oct 2019		Moreover, Ned Cobben, the name written in all-caps (a pseudonym for the well-known Irving Kaufman), is the performer (not the composer). The smaller names listed in brackets under the title (McMichen, Layne And Stokes), those are only the people who wrote the song on the B side. The numbers in brackets (148450 and 148451) are the matrix numbers (numbers assigned to each song as it was recorded onto a matrix). Several takes (version) of these songs were recorded, and two versions of each song were actually released. In the dead wax at the top of your records, you should find a number-letter-number combination that will reveal which of these takes your copy contains.
