RadnaNotions 19th Jun 2013		You can buy this from Naxos. The recording apparently dates from around 1930. This is a re-issue:- "Documentation concerning Grammophon/Polydor recordings is very sketchy. Exact recording dates are uncertain, matrix numbers are not always an accurate indicator, and Grammophon was known to reissue certain recordings in dubbed versions, with new matrix numbers. The Pastoral Symphony originally appeared as Polydor 66467/72 and Brunswick 90 189/94, and was later reissued as Polydor 95378/83. French pressings of this issue were from original stampers and bore the same matrix numbers and mechanical copyright date (1930). German pressings were dubbings, mechanical copyright 1938, and given new matrix numbers: 582/5 GO, 905/6 GS 8D, 586/90 GO"



78rpm-maniac 19th Jun 2013		Hi, a nice German classical record. If i look at the Label-design, the record is possibly from the time around 1940, but i´m not really shure, because I´m not a classical expert. I have compared the Label design with the German Jazz-Swing records with the same Label. Black-golden or blue-golden is for classical records, red-golden for popular Music (Dance Swing-Jazz-Music or Filmmusic)
