Hello folks, I´m a record collector from Germany. I have records from 1901 till today. 78rpm records, 45 rpms and 33 rpm long playing records. Furthermore i have 60 vintage recordplayers from 1899 till 1945. And a High-End Hi-Fi System with two Thorens turntables able to play the 78rpm records. Furthermore i have a huge Vinyl and CD-Collection with Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler and Springsteen collectibles.
One of the earliest re-issues of the Genesis debut-album on the old yellow-pink NOVA-label.
NOVA is a subsidiary label of DECCA-records. This album was re-released in multiple variants with the "Peter Gabriel Flower-Cover" on various labels, like the green-yellow Nova-label, the red Decca-label, and the later silver-blue-red-Decca label of the 1980s.
Interesting to see this issue, but why didn´t RCA released Jailhouse Rock much earlier in 1957, when it came out regulary. 1966 is really late for such an old track. Are there some other younger tracks by Elvis released on India RCA-Victor in the 1960s. ?
Maybe it is a contract-pressing for the UK market or otherwise ? There is also such a contract-pressing of Brothers in arms lp-album, Made in France for Germany, with German cover and German-label, but the pressing is Made in France.
