xiphophilos 4th Sep 2017		I made "Marriage Difficulties" the A side because it was the by far more recent recording on this disk. Moreover, Billy Golden (1858-1926, born William B. Shires) was a then very popular comedian who specialized in so-called "coon" comedy monologues; here he partners with James Marlowe ( -1917). "Michael Casey" was a character invented in 1892 by Russell Hunting, whose sketch "Casey at the Bat" became famous and started a Michael Casey Irish comedy franchise. I'm not sure who the actual speaker behind the pseudonym is here. This particular Casey sketch is available as mp3 online. So is Marriage Difficulties.
