 The two versions of this record help to date the start of the switch from one label style to the next.

Sherman-Nauck's sub-variety iv (five patents in two lines of equal length) was used until April 1920 (DW label printing date code), cf. https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/a2908.

Sherman-Nauck's sub-variety v (four patents in two lines of unequal length) begins to be used in May 1920 (EW label printing date code).

At the same time, Columbia raised its prices from 85c. (90c. in Canada) to $1.00 (both U.S. and Canada).
