xiphophilos 1st Apr 2018		Hawaiian tenor Tandy MacKenzie had a recording contract with Columbia at the time, and this and several other "Edwin Dale" records were among the Tandy MacKenzie records and news clippings that Tandy's widow gave to his alma mater, Kamehameha School for Boys, and that are now part of the school archives: http://blogs.ksbe.edu/archives/files/2015/02/Collection_of_Tandy_MacKenzie.pdf.



Bob1951 31st Mar 2018		Who was Edwin Dale? Sutton has Edwin Dale as a pseudonym for Charles Hackett. DAHR has Edwin Dale as a pseudonym for Tandy MacKenzie (per Rust), while MusicProjectX says Edwin Dale is Vernon Dalhart, although I don't know what his source was. After listening to the recording, it does not sound like Vernon Dalhart to me, but then I am not very good at voice recognition.
