Heinz Becker has created a great website for Henderson fans that you may enjoy too:
http://www.papabecker.com/fletcher%20henderson.htm

BTW, when an artist name is listed on the label, as here, as Fletcher Henderson And His Orchestra, on this site we only enter the name of the artist. You may enter the full name of the orchestra in the Notes.

dunk78:The date in the info box refers to the date of release, not the date of recording. Opposite sides of a record can have two different recording dates.

Yes, this is clearly a November 1923 release. Interesting that Columbia released blues records recorded by African Americans in their regular popular series, but then didn't consider them mainstream enough to actually advertise them in The Talking Machine World. I wonder if they even bothered distributing them west of Chicago. On the west coast, I see a lot of stuff like "The Columbians Dance Orchestra De Luxe" but never any of these wonderful blues records.

September 13, 1923 is the recording date. Not listed in Talking Machine World but it should fall in with these. https://www.americanradiohistory.com/Archive-Talking-Machine/20s/Talking-Machine-1923-11.pdf
