xiphophilos 5th Mar 2017		Margaret McKee did record for Gennett. "Whistler and his Dog" (mx X1433) and "The Mockingbird" (mx X1424) were recorded June 12, 1928 and released on Gennett 6527 in 1928 (source).



xiphophilos 5th Mar 2017		The Victor matrix number for "Listen to the Mockingbird" is BVE-24720-7 (source). I wonder if the GE indicates a Gennett recording.
