 Thanks for the info.

I've uploaded my disc for comparison. It does sound slightly different but I think it's just the audio reproduction and not the recording itself

 The same recording as released:

The Gramophone Company (and for a brief period The Gramophone and Typewriter Company) was founded in 1898. You'll find its earliest labels under Berliner, Gramophone, Gramophone Concert, and Gramophone Monarch. It only became known as His Master's Voice in 1910. So this record belongs in the HMV section, even though it doesn't explicitly say so. Look at almost any HMV release and you'll see 'The Gramophone Company' somewhere on the label.
So I've moved it.

I've added this oddity - presumably a test pressing or some such. It's the only time I've ever seen this label on a 78rpm. I had to add "The Gramophone Co. Ltd" as a label.
I can't quite read the purple stamp (over "SALE" and "LTD") it says PASSED and then something underneath.

B10732 is of course an HMV number and this track was eventually released on the HMV label (although no entry on this site as yet)

Edit: Apparently the stamp reads "PASSED TECHNICALLY". What ever that means
