xiphophilos 16th Aug 2017		Background on "My Sister And I" in John Bush Jones, "The Songs that Fought the War: Popular Music and the Home Front, 1939-1945", p. 89. Based on that book, the song was released in April 1941 and received heavy radio play in April-May 1941. Question is, whose recording of it the book refers to. The KIng Sisters, Bea Wain, Bob Chester, Benny Goodman, Eddie Howard, Jack Leonard, Dick Jurgens, and Jimmy Dorsey all recorded it. The lyrics are here.
