Redpunk SUBS 17th Oct 2022		Checked the run out and shows only the matrix no.s that are shown on the label. As the Purchase Tax was introduced in Great Britain on 21st October 1940 and this record was released in March I presume it is the first issue of this disc.

Upsetter FC 26th Mar 2022		The LOC had clearer recommendations at one point. A non-ionic surfacant for cleaning. And avoiding alcohol for shellac. That info is now gone.



xiphophilos 25th Mar 2022		The NEDCC mentions a solution of soapy mixture of deionized water and .5% Tergitol 15-S-7 but only for lacquer discs (so-called acetates), not for shellac. I think your use of vinegar is probably much safer for shellac.



Upsetter FC 24th Mar 2022		I use a spray bottle of vinegar on moldy records to stop the further decay and kill the mold. The Library of Congress offers cleaning information, but I do not use any alcohol on shellac unlike their source suggests.



xiphophilos 24th Mar 2022		Rearranged images chronologically. Bamboo's B side image seems to be infested with mold, which raises an interesting conversation problem. I personally rinse such labels with warm water, which removes the mold, and then make sure to dry them really well so that the mold can't spread. Are there better solutions?
