xiphophilos 13th Dec 2015		I had no idea that Ronnie and Louis Armstrong had ever crossed ways! Apparently, Armstrong, playing a horse trainer, got to sing "Jeepers Creepers" to a horse in that movie, which earned him an Oscar nomination for "Best Original Song" (wikipedia).



paneity 10th Dec 2015		Say It With A Kiss was recorded on 19 December 1938, and What Is There To Say on 3 December 1940. "Going Places" is a 1938 film, with a cast including Ronald Reagan and Louis Armstrong. The song was actually cut from the film, but the melody can be heard in the background.
