 Both are pressings with DT purchase tax code (9 Apr. 1948 - 29 Dec. 1950).

The label IDs (#C7b vs. C8) can be compared here: http://early78s.uk/hmv-record-labels-on-the-b-series-1912-1958/ Not sure yet when the switch from one label style to the other happened.
